Popmenu's Smart Messages are automated messages that send out to your guests based on their engagements on your website. This smart message will send out to your guests based on a certain number of orders you designate. For example, you can create a 10% off online ordering to send out after a customer spends $100 in online ordering.

How it works

  • In your My Popmenu dashboard select Communication

  • Select Email Messages and then Smart Messages

  • Select the Pencil icon next to Loyalty (Order Value)

  • Select your Amount Spent Trigger: This is the aggregate value of orders a follower must place before they receive the loyalty reward. The trigger resets every time the threshold is met. E.g. if the trigger is $100 then every time the customer reaches $100 in online orders, your customer will receive the offer you will designate in the next step. Note: the guest’s order must be “Accepted” by the restaurant in the dashboard and at no point be “Rejected” for them to get credit for the order.

  • Next, you can complete an optional step: Customize your Email Content (Subject message and body text): Right out of the box, this loyalty smart message will come with default content congratulating the follower on their reward and letting them know how they can redeem it. However, the you can add additional text if you'd like!

  • Select your Offer from the dropdown menu: This is the reward that the follower gets. This is a mandatory dropdown field that the client must use to select whatever offer they’d like to give their followers as their loyalty reward. If you have not set up your first order, please read and follow how to set up your first online offer!

  • Toggle the Loyalty (Order Value) message to Active (will appear green) and select the pencil icon to edit the template. Your offer will now be automatically sent out to your customers!
