How Order Delay Works

  • In Your My.popmenu.com, select online ordering via the shopping cart then pick Up + Delivery

    • If your restaurant has multiple locations Select your location

  • From your ordering dashboard, in the upper left-hand corner, select delay orders

  • Select an applicable time period!

    • If needed, you can add additional time later! Select the delay timer again in the upper right-hand corner. Select the appropriate time!

  • You will also receive a warning when the delay is close to ending!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where can I see the order delay?
    When you accept the order the adjusted time will automatically update according to your delay settings.

For example, if the prep time is 15 minutes normally and then you set the order delay for 30 minutes, it will now show a new customer the ASAP time is 45 minutes instead of the usual 15 minutes!

  • Will the Guest know that the order delay is on?
    No, the guest will not know that the order delay setting is on. The guest's order time will be longer depending on the delay time. They will see the approx. order time while placing the order.
